So, What is Functional Strength - Personal Training?

Functional Strength - Personal Training is having your own instructor, motivator, coach, health expert and champion barracker in your own corner, making sure you achieve your success.

A key element to strength transformation success however, is knowing how your body functionally works and the everyday life movement corrections needed, then reprogramming your body to move with strength and stability that give confidence.

Frustratingly, weā€™ve seen many women jump into a one-size-fits-all fitness program only to see motivation and commitment curtailed because they either werenā€™t shown or didnā€™t feel the need to establish good functional 'Active Daily Life' movements, resulting in unexpected injuries when doing these movements in everyday life, thereby derailing progress and halting motivation.

Essentially, this is where everyone should start when undertaking a fitness program. Functional strength - Personal Training will ensure you start your program at the right level that both acknowledges your body's current limitations, but challenges them to become stronger and more stable, without breaking you along the way.

Itā€™s common for many of our clients to start with a Personal Coach and then move across to our Small Group Training as they become stronger, healthier and more established in their goals.

Is this right for me!

Simple answer... YES!

However, not every woman needs Personal Training, in fact, their body's condition might be at a level that they can start with the Small groups or Strength Classes. 

That said, we always start with a consultation to assess your body's current condition. Based on that we may start you with several Personal Training sessions before you'd be ready to safely jump into a small group or strength class.

NOTE: If your body isn't up to it, we won't put you in a small group.

Why? Because the amount of additional support and oversight you'd need, would detract from the level of training and service the other clients in the group receive.

Which, we're sure you'd appreciate, if they were you.
