Ingredients for Homemade Muesli:
- 8 cups rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons cacao powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg, ground
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup pepitas
- 1/2 cup sultanas
- 1/2 cup currants
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup dates, chopped
- 1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped
- 1/2 cup almonds, chopped
- 1/2 cup cashews, chopped
Directions for Homemade Muesli:
step one: place rolled oats into large mixing bowl
step two: add cacao powder, cinnamon and nutmeg, mix thoroughly with hands
step three: add desiccated coconut, mix thoroughly
step four: add sultanas, currants and raisans, mix thoroughly
step five: add chopped almonds and cashews, mix thoroughly
step six: add chopped dates and dried apricots, mix thoroughly
step seven: give one last bit thorough mix through, then store in an airtight container
